SCRIPTURE AND SERMON Rev. Steve

Staying Positive: Enough of the Bad News

Optimism is the unwavering expectation that our loving God is working every situation, for our future good.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18 ESV

What consumes your mind tends to control your life.
Your life is generally moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 ESV

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 ESV
