Teresa & Gray Bridwell, Lauren
and Austin

Teresa joined the St. Paul staff
in the fall of 2006 as Coordinator of Children's Ministries.
Church Responsibilities:
Teresa Bridwell works to facilitate the vision of the Children’s
Council through planning and organizing the varied aspects related to the
children’s ministries of St. Paul UMC—from overseeing the staffing of the
nursery to Sunday and Wednesday activities to special events like Vacation
Bible School or St. Paul’s annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Personal Information:
What do you enjoy/love about
being at St Paul?:
I enjoy being
able to visit any group within this church’s walls and know at least one other
person and feel welcomed. For me, St. Paul UMC, has become a big church that
feels small. I’ve been a member since 1992 so that longevity in one place has
contributed to the feelings of fellowship that I enjoy.
What is your favorite movie?:
When I do get around to watching a movie, I like the ones that I can enjoy
with my children and not have to worry about deprogramming them after the
viewing.
What is your favorite book?:
My favorite book would be a good dictionary. However, I do have a growing
library of books that I keep because they resonate within me—books like Anne
Morrow Lindbergh’s Gift from the Sea or collections of poems like
Warning by Jenny Joseph. In recent years I’ve enjoyed the writings of
Kathleen Norris and the Bluebonnet books from my children’s school library.
Hobbies/interests: You might have
guessed that I like to read. I also enjoy gardening, farming, ranching
cooking and dabbling in a sundry other activities.
